Since opening the premier Adaptive Boating Center in 2023, CRAB has grown significantly. Guests continue to gain confidence in their abilities as they learn to sail while CRAB has greatly expanded its capacity for more guests. Dream Catcher, CRAB’s 40’ power catamaran, provides guests the option to enjoy the water without leaving the comfort of their wheelchair. Wellness programs are held all year so guests can remain active, creative, and social while enjoying a fully accessible environment. This year, CRAB aims to serve more guests than ever before. Your support makes that ambitious goal possible.
The Owners, Captain and Crew of Flagfest, our family's 1987 Pearson 31-2 sailboat, have been supporting CRAB for over 10 years. I am a volunteer Fleet Director and Skipper for the program and can often be found at CRAB events. I had the honor of working this year and last as one of the Mark and Safety boats for the local Special Olympics sailing event, hosted both years by CRAB. We look forward to competing in the 2026 Crab Cup in the PHRF Cruiser class. Your donations, and sharing of this program among like minded friends help us run the programs and expand the number of guests served every year.
