CRAB is great - as an organization it gets people who are less abled (or differently) out of the house, doing physical activity that has a social element. Sailing provides an experience that demonstrates to people what they can do, and grows confidence and social skills. CRAB has been part of Emma's life for almost 10 years. If you have room in your charitable giving, please donate - every little bit helps.
Since opening the premier Adaptive Boating Center in 2023, CRAB has grown significantly. Guests continue to gain confidence in their abilities as they learn to sail while CRAB has greatly expanded its capacity for more guests. Dream Catcher, CRAB’s 40’ power catamaran, provides guests the option to enjoy the water without leaving the comfort of their wheelchair. Wellness programs are held all year so guests can remain active, creative, and social while enjoying a fully accessible environment.
