Hi All,
I have started volunteering for a wonderful organization, CRAB, that provides sailing opportunities for people with disabilities. As a physical therapist, this is near and dear to my heart. I have met so many fantastic and caring people who work and volunteer at CRAB and have had the opportunity to help teach sailing to our guests, some of whom have never been out on the water before.
CRAB was founded on the principle that people with disabilities can and should be able to live fulfilling and joyful lives and have equitable access to meaningful, therapeutic sailing. One mother had this to say, “CRAB has changed my son’s life and given him the love of sailing! One sail at a time, he’s falling in love with sailing and himself!”
I am fundraising to help CRAB bring these opportunities to more people.
