Chesapeake Regional Accessible Boating is an organization near and dear to my heart. As a volunteer I have chosen to RACE in the CRAB Cup and raise funds and awareness with my team of 7 women sailors on J105 Break Away

I want to tell you a little bit about an organization that means a lot to me. Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) is the only organization on the Chesapeake Bay providing therapeutic recreational boating activities designed to promote healing and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. Their programs include sailing, fishing, boating, radio-controlled sailing, therapeutic music, art, and yoga, all free of charge for their guests. CRAB depends on individual donors like me to spread its message and provide the necessary funding.

That is why I have decided to support the Skipper's Challenge fundraiser. This is the first step in our collective effort to ensure that guests can access therapeutic recreation at no cost. The funds raised from this event will directly offset the costs of CRAB Programs, making a significant difference in the lives of those facing disabilities and their families.
