Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) is the primary provider of adaptive boating on the Chesapeake Bay. CRAB provides equity to people with disabilities who are seeking a fully accessible, community-based sailing or fishing program at no cost. Your support makes CRAB’s programs available to 20% of the population. Every donation has a direct impact.
CRAB guests face numerous challenges, including limited access to outdoor recreation, inactivity, and isolation, which can lead to a lower quality of life. At the same time, the veterans, youth, and adults who participate in CRAB’s programs experience an increased quality of life that they never thought possible.
